At Mobile Solution Nottingham, we want customers to feel confident when buying refurbished devices or using our repair services. This Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is not covered, and how warranty claims are handled.
1. Warranty Coverage
Refurbished mobile phones purchased from Mobile Solution Nottingham include a 6-month warranty from the date of purchase, unless a different warranty period is clearly stated on the product page, invoice, or receipt.
Repair services may include a separate repair warranty depending on the repair type and parts used. The warranty period for repairs will be confirmed at the time of repair or on your repair receipt.
2. What Is Covered
The warranty covers hardware faults that occur during normal use and are not caused by accidental damage, misuse, liquid damage, or third-party repair.
Examples of covered faults may include:
- Internal hardware faults not caused by damage
- Charging issues not caused by damaged ports, cables, or misuse
- Speaker, microphone, camera, or button faults not caused by physical damage
- Screen or display faults not caused by drops, pressure marks, cracks, or impact
- Battery faults where the issue is not caused by misuse or external damage
3. What Is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover faults or damage caused by:
- Accidental damage, drops, impact, pressure, bending, or crushing
- Cracked screens, cracked back glass, damaged frames, or cosmetic damage after purchase
- Liquid damage, moisture damage, corrosion, or water exposure
- Misuse, neglect, improper handling, or unauthorised modifications
- Third-party repairs or opening the device by another repair provider
- Software issues caused by apps, updates, user settings, jailbreaking, rooting, or malware
- Loss of data, accounts, passwords, Apple ID, Google account locks, or user-installed content
- Accessories such as charging cables, plugs, cases, screen protectors, or other external accessories unless specifically stated
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic marks, scratches, or battery wear from normal usage
4. Battery Warranty
Batteries are consumable components and naturally degrade over time. Battery coverage applies only where there is a confirmed fault beyond normal battery wear and where the device has been used under normal conditions.
5. Water Resistance Disclaimer
Refurbished or repaired devices should not be treated as water resistant or waterproof. Water resistance can reduce over time and may be affected by previous use, repairs, or normal wear. Liquid damage is not covered under warranty.

7. Inspection Process
All warranty claims are subject to inspection by our technical team. We may need to inspect the device before confirming whether the issue is covered under warranty.
If the device shows signs of physical damage, liquid damage, misuse, third-party repair, or any excluded condition listed above, the warranty claim may be refused.
8. Warranty Resolution
If the fault is covered under warranty, Mobile Solution Nottingham may offer one of the following resolutions depending on the issue and stock availability:
- Repair of the faulty device
- Replacement with an equivalent device, where available
- Refund, where repair or replacement is not possible
9. Customer Responsibilities
Before sending or bringing a device for warranty inspection, customers should:
- Back up all personal data
- Remove Apple ID, iCloud, Google account, Samsung account, screen locks, and passwords where possible
- Remove SIM cards and memory cards
- Provide proof of purchase
Mobile Solution Nottingham is not responsible for loss of data during inspection, repair, replacement, or warranty handling.
10. Warranty Validity
Warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and may require proof of purchase. Warranty does not restart after a repair or replacement unless required by law or clearly stated by Mobile Solution Nottingham.
